Miguel A. Núñez Jr. is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer. He is best known for his roles in the films Juice, New Jack City, and Menace II Society.
Núñez was born in Harlem, New York on August 11, 1964, to Puerto Rican parents. He has two sisters. He was raised in the Bronx and attended the High School of Performing Arts.
Núñez began his career as a breakdancer in the early 1980s. He made his film debut in the 1984 film Beat Street. He has since appeared in over 50 films and television shows.
Some of Núñez’s most notable roles include O-Dog in Juice, Nino Brown in New Jack City, Caine in Menace II Society, and Reggie Wright Jr. in The Players Club.
In addition to acting, Núñez has also worked as a writer and producer. He wrote and produced the 2001 film 3 Strikes and the 2002 film All About the Benjamins. He also produced the television series The Game from 2006 to 2008.
Núñez has been married twice. His first marriage was to actress Lisa Vidal from 1996 to 2005. They have three children together. His second marriage is to actress Kyla Pratt. They have two children together.
