Born on July 29, 1963 in New York City, Alexandra is the daughter of former model and actress, Pamelyn Ferdin, and Mark Paul, an actor and writer. She has two older sisters, Leigh and Tiffany.
Alexandra began her acting career at the age of seven when she appeared in a national commercial for Mattel’s Barbie dolls. She went on to guest star in a number of popular television shows including Family Ties, The Wonder Years and Step by Step.
In 1992, Alexandra landed the role of Lt. Stephanie Holden in the hit television series Baywatch. She played the role for five seasons until 1997. During her time on the show, Alexandra became one of the most popular actresses in the world.
