Yvette Fielding is an English television presenter, producer, director and author. She is best known for her work on the paranormal investigation series Most Haunted.

Fielding was born on 17 September 1965 in Salford, Lancashire, England. She is the youngest of three children. Her father was a police officer and her mother was a housewife. Fielding was educated at St. Ambrose College in Altrincham, Cheshire.

Fielding began her career as a child actress, appearing in the soap opera Coronation Street and the film The Railway Children. She later became a presenter on the children’s television series Blue Peter.

In 2002, Fielding created, produced and starred in the paranormal investigation series Most Haunted. The show ran for 10 years and was broadcast in over 40 countries.

Fielding has also presented a number of other television shows, including Ghosthunting with…, Yvette Fielding’s Ghosthunting Adventures and Help! My House Is Haunted.

Fielding has written two books about her experiences with the paranormal: My Ghosthunting Diary and Most Haunted Places.

Fielding is married to Karl Beattie, with whom she has two children.
