Stephen Wallem is an American actor, comedian, writer, and director. He is best known for his role as Thor Lundgren on the Showtime comedy-drama series Nurse Jackie.

Wallem was born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 10, 1965. He is the youngest of three children. His father was a police officer and his mother was a homemaker. Wallem was raised in a Catholic household. He attended Catholic schools through high school.

Wallem began his career as a stand-up comedian in the early 1990s. He has appeared on numerous television shows, including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. He has also had roles in films such as Elf (2003) and The Hangover Part III (2013).

Wallem has been married to his wife, Linda, since 1992. They have two children together.
