Julie Berman is an American actress best known for her role as Dr. Laura Berman on the Oprah Winfrey Network series, The Dr. Oz Show. She has also appeared on the soap opera General Hospital and in the films The Purge: Anarchy and The Girl on the Train.

Berman was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 6, 1976. She is the daughter of Barbara and Gerald Berman. She has two sisters, Mindy and Marcy. Berman was raised in a Jewish household and attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre.

Berman began her acting career in the early 2000s, appearing in episodes of the television series JAG and The Guardian. She made her film debut in 2004 with a small role in the film 13 Going on 30. In 2006, Berman landed the role of Dr. Laura Berman on The Oprah Winfrey Show. She would go on to appear in over 100 episodes of the show.

In 2013, Berman appeared in the film The Purge: Anarchy. The following year, she had a role in the film The Girl on the Train. Berman has also appeared on the soap opera General Hospital.

Berman has been married to Michael Grady since 2006. The couple has two children together.
