Joe Blasco was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on August 16, 1936. His parents were Joseph and Mary Blasco. He has four brothers and sisters. His early education was at Catholic schools in Cleveland. He played football and baseball in high school. After graduation, he attended Kent State University on a football scholarship. He played football for Kent State for two years before he was injured. He then transferred to the University of Cincinnati, where he studied art.

Blasco’s career began when he was hired by DC Comics in 1959. He worked on such titles as “The Flash”, “Green Lantern”, and “Action Comics”. In the early 1960s, he also did some work for Marvel Comics. He drew the “X-Men” for a time, and he also did some work on “The Amazing Spider-Man”. Blasco’s career really took off in the 1970s, when he began working for Warren Publishing. He did a lot of work for “Creepy” and “Eerie”, two of Warren’s horror magazines. He also did some work for “Vampirella”.

In the 1980s, Blasco began working for Marvel again. He did a lot of work for “The Incredible Hulk” and “The Amazing Spider-Man”. He also did some work for “The X-Men”. In the 1990s, he did some work for DC again, including a run on “Batman”. He has also done a lot of work for Image Comics.

Blasco has had a long and successful career in comics. He is best known for his work in horror comics, but he has also done a lot of work in other genres. He is a very versatile artist.
