Don Stark is an American actor, best known for his role as Bob Pinciotti on the Fox sitcom That ’70s Show.
Stark was born in New York City, the son of a Jewish family. His parents were both successful professionals; his father was a doctor and his mother was a lawyer. He has two older sisters.
Stark was educated at private schools in New York City. He attended the prestigious Bronx High School of Science, where he was a star athlete. He then went on to study at Columbia University, where he earned a degree in economics.
After college, Stark began his acting career with a role in the soap opera The Edge of Night. He then went on to appear in a number of television shows and movies, including The Waltons, Kojak, and The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries.
It was not until 1998 that Stark landed his most famous role, as Bob Pinciotti on That ’70s Show. He played the role for eight seasons, until the show ended in 2006.
Since That ’70s Show ended, Stark has appeared in a number of television shows and movies, including Desperate Housewives, CSI: Miami, and The Young and the Restless. He has also appeared in the Broadway production of Chicago.
Stark has been married twice. His first marriage was to actress Linda Gray, with whom he has two children. His second marriage is to actress Brooke Shields, with whom he has one child.
Stark is currently worth an estimated $8 million. His salary from That ’70s Show was $100,000 per episode.
