The show ran for four seasons on ABC and UPN before being cancelled in 2002.
Hughley has also appeared in a number of films, including The Original Kings of Comedy (2000), Scary Movie 3 (2003), Soul Plane (2004), and The Brothers (2001). He also had a recurring role on the NBC sitcom Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip as Simon Stiles, an African-American comedian.
In 2008, Hughley was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. He was paired with professional dancer Cheryl Burke and they were the fifth couple eliminated from the competition.
I said it before I say it again! If #HerschelWalker ran the football in the #NFL as hard as he stalked white women he’d already be in the Hall Of Fame! #TeamDl

1 | [on Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (2006)] I think that like most things that are highly touted - the number-one draft pick - we crumpled under the weight of expectations. I think that's a fairly common phenomenon. I think we could have not taken ourselves so seriously. We pulled back the curtain too much. It's like when you go to a restaurant: It can be the best restaurant in the world, but I just want to eat the meal. I don't want to know how they make the steak. I think we spent so much time explaining and making what we did "important." We weren't inclusive enough. We had conversations with ourselves to hear ourselves. |
