She has two sisters, Cindy and Tammy. Miller attended Riverside Polytechnic High School, where she played on the school’s basketball team.

She then attended the University of Southern California, where she played on the school’s basketball team. After college, Miller played professionally for the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks. She also coached the team for one season. Miller is currently an analyst for Turner Sports.
