Bonnie Loo is a Singaporean singer, songwriter, and actress. She was born on October 22, 1988, in Singapore, to parents of Chinese and Malaysian descent. She has one older sister. Loo began her education at Nanyang Girls’ High School and later attended Raffles Junior College. In 2006, she was accepted into the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, United States on a full scholarship.
Loo began her singing career in 2008, when she was featured on the Singaporean television show, The Final 1. She went on to release her debut album, Bonnie Loo, in 2010. The album was a commercial success, reaching number one on the Singaporean charts.
Loo’s acting career began in 2012, when she starred in the Singaporean film, I Not Stupid Too 2. The film was a box office success, grossing over $1 million.
In 2014, Loo released her second album, My Way. The album was another commercial success, reaching number two on the Singaporean charts.
Loo has been in a relationship with Malaysian actor Aaron Aziz since 2016. The couple has one child together.
