Zöe Lucker is a British actress, best known for her roles in the soap operas Footballers’ Wives and Hollyoaks.
Lucker was born in London, England, on 28 March 1977. Her parents are of English and German descent. She has two older sisters. Lucker was educated at the Sylvia Young Theatre School and the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.
Lucker’s first television role was in the British medical drama Casualty in 1998. She went on to appear in a number of other British television programmes, including The Bill, Holby City and Doctors. In 2002, she landed the role of Tanya Turner in the ITV soap opera Footballers’ Wives. The show was a huge success and made Lucker a household name. She appeared in the show for three years, until 2005.
In 2006, Lucker made her film debut in the British comedy Confetti. She also had a small role in the 2007 film St Trinian’s.
In 2008, Lucker began appearing in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks as Porsche McQueen. The character quickly became popular with viewers and Lucker became one of the show’s main stars. She remained on Hollyoaks until 2012, when she left to pursue other projects.
Lucker has appeared in a number of stage productions, including Chicago (2006), Sweet Charity (2007) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2009).
In 2013, Lucker starred in the short-lived ITV drama series Mr Selfridge. She also had a recurring role in the BBC medical drama Holby City from 2014 to 2015.
Lucker has been married twice. Her first marriage was to actor John Lynch from 2000 to 2005. The couple have two daughters together. Her second marriage is to businessman Richard Sutton. The couple have been married since 2009 and have one son together.
