Viveca Paulin was born on October 29, 1972 in Stockholm, Sweden. Her parents are Ingvar Paulin, a businessman, and Birgitta, a homemaker. She has two older sisters, Pia and Petra. She grew up in Stockholm and attended the prestigious Bromma Gymnasium high school. She went on to study economics at the University of Stockholm.
