Susan Saint James is an American actress and former model, best known for her work in television during the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. She was born Susan Jane Miller in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Constance, a homemaker, and Charles Daniel Miller, a businessman. She has two sisters, Nancy and Barbara. Saint James was raised in Rockford, Illinois, where she began modeling as a teenager. She moved to New York City at the age of 18 to pursue a career in modeling and acting.
Saint James began her career as a model, appearing in magazines such as Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. She also appeared on the covers of Time and Newsweek. In 1966, she made her television debut on the sitcom The John Forsythe Show. She went on to guest star on a number of popular television series, including The Virginian, The Love Boat, Magnum, P.I., and Murphy Brown.
In 1968, Saint James married Richard Neubert, with whom she had two children: Kate and Charles. The couple divorced in 1978. In 1984, she married Dick Ebersol, with whom she had two more children: Teddy and Willie. The couple divorced in 1996.
Saint James has appeared in a number of films, including The Detective (1968), The Stepford Wives (1975), and It’s My Turn (1980). She has also been active in a number of charitable causes.
Saint James is currently married to Thomas Lucas. The couple has one son, Henry.
