Shaun Majumder is a Canadian actor, comedian, and writer. He was born on January 29, 1972, in Burlington, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. His parents are of Indian and Irish descent. He has two sisters. He attended Queen Elizabeth High School in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He then studied civil engineering at Dalhousie University before dropping out to pursue a career in comedy.

Majumder began his career as a stand-up comedian. He has appeared on numerous television shows, including This Hour Has 22 Minutes, The Ron James Show, and Just for Laughs. He has also had roles in the films Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle and The Ladies Man. In addition to his work in front of the camera, Majumder is also a producer and director. He has directed music videos for the band Great Big Sea and the television series Trailer Park Boys.

Majumder has won several awards for his work in comedy, including the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Male TV Performance and the Gemini Award for Best Performance in a Comedy Program or Series. He has also been nominated for several other awards, including the Genie Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Majumder is married to Shelby Fenner. The couple has two children together.
