Rebecca Front is an English actress. She was born on May 16, 1964, in Stoke Newington, London, England. Her parents are Michael and Sheila Front. She has two sisters, Rachel and Sarah. She was educated at the independent all-girls’ school South Hampstead High School. She then studied English Literature at New College, Oxford.

Front began her career in the 1980s with small roles on television. She had a recurring role on the soap opera Emmerdale from 1989 to 1990. She also appeared in the sitcoms The Young Ones and Blackadder. In the 1990s, she had roles in the films The Madness of King George and Notting Hill. She also appeared in the television series Midsomer Murders and Cold Feet.

In the 2000s, Front had a leading role in the sitcom The Thick of It. She also appeared in the films Pride & Prejudice and In the Loop. In the 2010s, she had a leading role in the sitcom Episodes. She has also appeared in the films The Iron Lady and The Lady in the Van.

Front has won two BAFTA Awards for her work on The Thick of It and Episodes. She has also been nominated for three BAFTA Awards for her work on Blackadder, The Young Ones, and Cold Feet.

Front has been married to Justin Edwards since 1998. They have two children together.
