Olivia Brown is an American actress, best known for her role as Det. Trudy Joplin on the NBC crime drama Miami Vice.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Brown began her acting career in the early 1980s with guest appearances on several television shows, including The Dukes of Hazzard and The A-Team. She made her film debut in the 1984 action film The Terminator.

Brown’s breakout role came in 1986 when she was cast as Det. Trudy Joplin on Miami Vice. She appeared in all five seasons of the show, which ended in 1990.
