Nick Matthews is an Australian professional surfer who has been competing on the World Championship Tour since 2013. He is from the Gold Coast in Queensland and started surfing when he was just six years old. Nick’s father, Greg, is a former professional surfer himself and introduced his son to the sport. Nick quickly developed a passion for surfing and began competing in local competitions when he was just eight years old.

Nick had a successful junior career, winning the Australian Junior Surfing Championships in 2009 and 2010. He also won the World Junior Surfing Championships in 2010. After finishing high school, Nick decided to pursue a career in professional surfing and joined the World Championship Tour.

Nick has had a solid career on the World Championship Tour, with his best result coming in 2015 when he finished in 9th place overall. He has also won a number of Qualifying Series events, including the Australian Open of Surfing in 2013.

Nick is currently ranked 14th in the world on the World Championship Tour. He has a career earnings of over $1 million and his net worth is estimated to be around $3 million.

Nick is in a relationship with fellow professional surfer Sally Fitzgibbons. The couple met in 2010 and have been dating ever since. They currently live together on the Gold Coast.
