Martin Luther King III (born October 23, 1957) is an American human rights advocate and community activist. He is the oldest son and middle child of civil rights leaders Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King. His sister is Yolanda King, and his brother is Dexter Scott King.

King was born on October 23, 1957, in Montgomery, Alabama, to Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King. He has two siblings: Yolanda, an actress and author; and Dexter, a businessman. His father was a Baptist minister and his mother was a homemaker.

King was educated at Morehouse College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science. He also studied at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

King’s career has been dedicated to human rights advocacy and community activism. He is the president and CEO of the King Center for Nonviolent Social Change, which was founded by his mother in 1968. He also serves on the board of directors of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, an organization his father co-founded.

King has been married twice. His first wife was Naomi Ruth Barber, with whom he had two children: Martin Luther King IV (born 1979) and Yolanda Renee King (born 1982). His second wife is Arndrea Waters, with whom he has two children: Andrew Luther King (born 1986) and Bernice Albertine King (born 1989).

King has a net worth of $3 million. His salary is not publicly disclosed, but it is known that he receives a stipend from the King Center. He has also earned income from speaking engagements and book royalties.
