Theile was born in Paris, France on October 10, 1980. She is the daughter of French businessman, Jean-Claude Theile, and his wife, Marie-Therese Theile. She has two older brothers, Jean-Charles and Philippe.

Theile was educated at the Lycée Français de New York and the Sorbonne University in Paris. She later attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.

Theile began her career working as a stylist for the French fashion house, Chanel. She later worked as a buyer for the luxury department store, Bergdorf Goodman.

In 2006, Theile and her husband, German entrepreneur, Stefan Schön, founded the online fashion retailer, Theile & Schön. The company specializes in selling high-end designer clothing and accessories.
