Crombie’s acting career began in 1984 when he was cast as Gilbert Blythe in the Canadian television series “Anne of Green Gables.” The series was a huge success and Crombie’s performance was praised by critics.

After “Anne of Green Gables,” Crombie went on to appear in a number of films and television shows. He had a recurring role on the popular television series “Street Legal” and starred in the films “Degrassi High” and “Ginger Snaps.”

Crombie’s most recent role was in the 2016 television series “The Good Wife.” He also had a small role in the 2017 film “The Shape of Water.”
