John Aniston is an actor best known for his role as Victor Kiriakis on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives.
Aniston was born in Crete, Greece, on July 24, 1933. His parents were George Aniston, a doctor, and Louise Aniston (née Simon), a homemaker. He has two older sisters, Antoinette and Christina.
Aniston moved to the United States with his family in 1948. They settled in New York City, where Aniston attended high school. He then studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Aniston’s first acting role was in the 1953 film From Here to Eternity. He has since appeared in numerous films and television shows. Some of his most notable roles include Dr. Mark Henderson on The Doctors (1963-1965), Dr. Robert Mitchell on Love, American Style (1969-1974), and Jerry Seinfeld’s father on Seinfeld (1989-1998).
Aniston has been married twice. His first marriage was to actress Nancy Dow from 1965 to 1980. They had one child together, actress Jennifer Aniston. His second marriage was to Sherry Rooney from 1984 to 1985.
