Jamie Borthwick is an English actor, best known for his role as Jay Brown in the BBC soap opera EastEnders.

Born in Barking, Essex, Borthwick made his first television appearance in an episode of the children’s series The Basil Brush Show in 2002. He went on to have roles in the television series Casualty and Holby City before being cast as Jay Brown in EastEnders in 2006.

Borthwick has appeared in over 1000 episodes of EastEnders and has won several awards for his portrayal of Jay, including the National Television Award for Outstanding Newcomer in 2009.

In addition to his work on EastEnders, Borthwick has also appeared in the films Anuvahood (2011) and We Are Monster (2014).

Borthwick’s net worth is estimated to be £1 million. He has been in a relationship with actress Jasmine Armfield since 2015.
