Jack Fisk is an American film and television art director, production designer, and occasional actor. He is best known for his work on films such as Badlands, Days of Heaven, Raging Bull, The Revenant, and Mulholland Drive.
Fisk was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of Pauline (née Gumaer) and Otis Webster Fisk. His father was a Baptist minister, and his mother was a homemaker. He has two sisters, Mary and Barbara. Fisk was raised in Santa Monica, California, and graduated from Santa Monica High School in 1961. He attended San Diego State University, where he studied art and architecture.
Fisk began his career working as an assistant art director on the film Medium Cool (1969). He subsequently worked as an art director on a number of films, including The Last Picture Show (1971), Badlands (1973), Days of Heaven (1978), and Raging Bull (1980). He has also worked as a production designer on films such as The Revenant (2015) and Mulholland Drive (2001).
Fisk has been married to actress Sissy Spacek since 1974. They have two daughters, Schuyler and Madison.
