Greg Grunberg is an American actor and television producer. He is best known for his roles as Matt Parkman on the NBC television series Heroes, Eric Weiss on Alias, and Sean Blumberg on Felicity. He has also appeared in a number of films, including Austin Powers in Goldmember, Mission: Impossible III, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and The Hangover Part III.

Greg was born in Los Angeles, California, on July 11, 1966, to Sandy (née Kanter) and Gerry Grunberg. He has two brothers, Brad and Mark. He was raised in a Jewish household.

He attended El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills, where he was a member of the school’s drama club. He then studied theatre at the University of Southern California.

Greg’s acting career began in the early 1990s with guest roles on television shows such as Saved by the Bell: The New Class, Wings, and Married… with Children. He made his film debut in the 1995 comedy National Lampoon’s Senior Trip.

In 2001, Greg landed the role of Matt Parkman on the NBC superhero drama series Heroes. He played the role for four seasons until the show’s cancellation in 2010.

Following Heroes, Greg had recurring roles on the television series Love Bites and Timeless. He also appeared in the films Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) and The Hangover Part III (2013).

In 2018, Greg created and executive produced the ABC comedy series Single Parents. The show was cancelled after one season.

Greg is married to Elizabeth Wetherby. They have three children together: Jake, Sam, and Claire.
