He was traded to the Washington Redskins in 1966. He played for the Redskins for one year. He was traded to the Detroit Lions in 1967. He played for the Lions for four years. He retired from football in 1971.
Carr’s career achievements include being named to the Pro Bowl in 1965 and 1967. He was also named All-Pro in 1967.
