Danny Jacob is an American musician, singer, and songwriter. He is best known for his work as a member of the band Weezer, with whom he has released nine studio albums. Jacob has also released three solo albums and has collaborated with a number of other artists.

Born in Los Angeles, California, on February 8, 1970, Danny Jacob is the son of Bob and Barbara Jacob. He has two older sisters, Lisa and Jill. Jacob’s father was a successful businessman, and his mother was a homemaker. Jacob’s parents divorced when he was eight years old, and he was raised by his mother.

Jacob began playing guitar when he was eleven years old. He was influenced by a variety of artists, including the Beatles, the Beach Boys, and Jimi Hendrix. After graduating from high school, Jacob attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he studied music.

In 1992, Jacob met Rivers Cuomo, and the two began writing songs together. The following year, they formed the band Weezer. Jacob has been married twice. His first marriage was to Julie Jacob, with whom he has two sons, Jackson and Levi. Jacob and Julie divorced in 2009. Jacob married his second wife, Erinna Gibbons, in 2012. Jacob has three stepchildren from his marriage to Gibbons.
