Cody was born in Los Angeles, California, on January 1, 1988. His parents are Jeff and Kelly Jones. He has two older sisters, Ashley and Brittany.
Cody attended Oak Park High School in Oak Park, California. He played football and was on the track team. After graduation, he attended Santa Monica College.
Cody’s acting career began in 2010 with a small role in the television series CSI: Miami. He has also appeared in episodes of The Young and the Restless, Castle, and NCIS: Los Angeles.
In 2012, Cody was cast as Tyler in the MTV series Teen Wolf. The show was a hit, and Cody’s performance was praised by critics. The show ended in 2017 after six seasons.
In 2018, Cody starred in the film The Last Summer. He also produced and starred in the short film Locker 11-12.
