Christopher B. Duncan is an American actor, comedian, and voice artist. He is best known for his role as Charlie Baker on the sitcom The Jamie Foxx Show, which aired on the WB network from 1996 to 2001.

Duncan was born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 3, 1957, the youngest of four children. His father was a truck driver and his mother was a homemaker. He has two older sisters and an older brother.
Duncan attended high school in Chicago, where he played football and basketball. After graduation, he attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale on a football scholarship. He played wide receiver for the Salukis from 1976 to 1978.
Duncan began his acting career in the early 1980s, appearing in small roles on television shows such as Hill Street Blues and Miami Vice. He had his first major role in the 1985 film The Color Purple, playing Harpo, the son of Whoopi Goldberg’s character.
In 1996, Duncan was cast as Charlie Baker, the best friend of Jamie Foxx’s character on The Jamie Foxx Show. The show was a hit, running for five seasons on the WB network.

Since the end of The Jamie Foxx Show, Duncan has appeared in a number of films and television shows, including Are We There Yet?, CSI: Miami, and Castle. He has also done voice work for animated shows such as The Proud Family and The Cleveland Show.
Duncan is married to Tisha Campbell-Martin, with whom he has two children.
