Betsy Russell is an American actress best known for her role as Jill Tuck, the ex-wife of the Jigsaw Killer, in the Saw franchise.
Born in San Diego, California, on September 6, 1963, Russell was the middle child of three girls. Her father was a naval officer and her mother was a homemaker. Russell began acting in high school productions and community theater. After graduation, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
Russell made her film debut in the 1981 comedy Private School. She went on to appear in a number of films throughout the 1980s, including Teen Wolf Too (1987) and Tango & Cash (1989). In 1992, she landed the role of Jill Tuck in the first Saw film. She reprised her role in three more Saw films: Saw III (2006), Saw IV (2007), and Saw V (2008).
In addition to her work in the Saw franchise, Russell has also appeared in television shows such as CSI: Miami and Bones. She has been married twice and has two daughters.
