Aubrey Morris was born on July 1, 1926 in London, England. Her parents were Jack and Sylvia Morris. She had two sisters, Sheila and Barbara. Aubrey was educated at the prestigious St Paul’s Girls’ School in London. She began her career as a stage actress, appearing in several West End productions.

She made her film debut in the 1948 film “The Fallen Idol”. Morris appeared in a number of British films in the 1950s and 1960s. She is best known for her role as the gypsy woman in the 1971 film “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory”. Morris also appeared in the television series “Doctor Who” and “The Avengers”.

She retired from acting in the early 1980s. Morris died on August 15, 2018 at the age of 92.

1His professional debut was in "The Winter's Tale", in the junior role of Clown, at the Regent's Park theater in May 1944. His West End debut was in "Fly Away Peter", a family comedy at the King's theater, Hammersmith, in May 1947.
