Amanda Redman, MBE (born 12 August 1957) is an English actress, known for her roles in the television series At Home with the Braithwaites, Sexy Beast and New Tricks.

Redman was born in Brighton, Sussex, the daughter of Jean (née Burgess) and Ronald Redman. She was educated at Brighton and Hove High School and the Central School of Speech and Drama.

Redman’s first television appearance was in an episode of the series Target in 1978. Her first film appearance was in the 1981 film For Your Eyes Only. She has since appeared in many films and television series, including The Good Wife, The Good Fight, The Red Tent, The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, and Our Girl.

Redman has been married twice, first to actor Robert Powell from 1985 to 1996, with whom she has a son, Charlie. She married actor Damian Lewis in 1998, and they have two daughters, Manon and Gulliver.

Redman has a net worth of $5 million.
