Warren DeMartini was born on August 1, 1963, in San Bernardino, California. His parents were both Italian immigrants. He has two older sisters. He was raised Roman Catholic. He attended Aquinas High School, where he played football and baseball. He was offered a football scholarship to the University of Southern California, but turned it down to pursue a career in music.

DeMartini began playing guitar at the age of 12. He was influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and Aerosmith. He joined his first band, called Rubicon, when he was 16. The band played cover songs and original material. They recorded a demo tape, but it was never released.

In 1982, DeMartini met bassist Nikki Sixx at a nightclub in Hollywood. Sixx invited him to audition for his new band, Mötley Crüe. DeMartini was hired on the spot. Mötley Crüe released their debut album, Too Fast for Love, in 1981. The album was a commercial success, selling over 2 million copies.

Mötley Crüe went on to release a string of successful albums, including Shout at the Devil (1983), Theatre of Pain (1985), Girls, Girls, Girls (1987), and Dr. Feelgood (1989). The band became known for their outrageous stage shows, which featured pyrotechnics, fire breathing, and blood spitting. They also gained a reputation for their heavy drug and alcohol use.

In 1992, DeMartini married model Tammi Miceli. The couple had two children together before divorcing in 2002.

DeMartini is considered one of the best guitarists of his generation. He is known for his fast playing style and his use of harmonics. He has been ranked by Guitar World magazine as one of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.”

DeMartini has a net worth of $50 million.
