Scott Major (born October 16, 1967) is an American actor, best known for his role as Dr. Alan Quartermaine Jr. on the ABC soap opera General Hospital.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Major began his acting career in the early 1990s with guest appearances on television shows such as Married… with Children, Blossom and Saved by the Bell. In 1992, he landed his first major role as Dr. Alan Quartermaine Jr. on General Hospital. He has appeared on the show off and on for over two decades, and is currently still appearing on the show.
In addition to his work on General Hospital, Major has also appeared in the films The Brady Bunch Movie (1995) and A Very Brady Sequel (1996), and has guest-starred on television shows such as JAG, CSI: Miami and Without a Trace.
Major is married to actress Rebecca Herbst, who plays Elizabeth Webber on General Hospital. The couple has three children together.
