Paulo Machado (born 21 March 1977) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Chinese club Tianjin Teda.

Born in Lisbon, Paulo Machado started his career with local giants Sporting CP, but only managed to make one first-team appearance for the club. He then had spells with a number of Portuguese clubs, including Vitória de Setúbal, Académica de Coimbra and Gil Vicente, before moving to China in 2013 to join Tianjin Teda.

Machado has been a regular for Tianjin Teda since joining the club, making over 150 appearances in all competitions. He has also been capped once by Portugal at senior level.
