He has two younger brothers, Jared and Jordan. Morris was raised in a Conservative Jewish household and attended a Jewish day school. Morris began his career as a marketing intern at Jive Records. He later became an A&R executive at the label, where he helped sign and develop artists such as Britney Spears and ‘N Sync. In 2000, he co-founded the management company Three Six Zero Group with partners Mark Gillespie and Dean Wilson. The company represents artists such as Calvin Harris, Deadmau5, and Robbie Williams. In 2013, Morris launched the record label Three Six Zero Music with partners Gillespie and Wilson. The label’s roster includes artists such as The Chemical Brothers and Rufus Wainwright.
Morris is a minority owner of the Philadelphia 76ers. He is also a partner in the ownership group of the English Premier League football club Swansea City.
