Marin Elizabeth Hinkle is an American actress. She is known for her roles as Judy Brooks on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live, and as Rose on the NBC sitcom Two and a Half Men. She has also had recurring roles on the television series Mad Men, Once and Again, and The Americans.
Hinkle was born in Darien, Connecticut, the daughter of Nancy (née Knickerbocker), a former fashion model, and Rodney Hinkle, a retired doctor. She has two sisters, Emily and Kate. Hinkle was raised in New York City. She attended the Spence School, and graduated from Brown University in 1989 with a degree in English literature.
Hinkle began her acting career in regional theater. She made her Broadway debut in the play The Heidi Chronicles in 1989. She has also appeared in the plays Our Town, The Crucible, and The Seagull.
Hinkle made her television debut in the soap opera One Life to Live in 1992. She played the role of Judy Brooks for two years. She has also had recurring roles on the television series Mad Men, Once and Again, and The Americans.
Hinkle has appeared in the films As Good as It Gets (1997), Random Hearts (1999), I Am Sam (2001), and The Ring Two (2005).
Hinkle is married to actor Timothy Daly. They have two children.
