Kim Richards (born September 19, 1964) is an American actress, television personality, and philanthropist. She began her career as a child actress, appearing in such films as Disney’s The Watcher in the Woods and Escape to Witch Mountain. She later starred in the short-lived ABC series Hell Town. In 2010, she became one of the housewives on the Bravo reality television series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Richards was born in Mineola, New York, to Kenneth and Shirley Richards. She has three sisters: Kathy, Kyle, and Kimmy. Her parents divorced when she was two years old, and she was raised by her mother and stepfather, Monty Brinson. Richards began her acting career at age four, when she appeared in a commercial for Coppertone suntan lotion. She made her film debut in Disney’s The Watcher in the Woods (1980). She subsequently appeared in Escape to Witch Mountain (1975), No Deposit, No Return (1976), Return from Witch Mountain (1978), and Little House on the Prairie (1979–1982).
In 1982, Richards starred in the short-lived ABC series Hell Town. The following year, she appeared in the television film For Love or Money. In 1984, she starred in the film Tuff Turf. She subsequently appeared in National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989), Backdraft (1991), and Escape from L.A. (1996).
In 2010, Richards joined the cast of the Bravo reality television series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She has appeared on the show for five seasons.
Richards has been married three times. Her first marriage was to Monty Brinson, with whom she has one daughter, Brooke Brinson. Her second marriage was to Gregg Davis, with whom she has two sons, Chad Davis and Dylan Davis. Her third marriage is to Mauricio Umansky, with whom she has three daughters: Portia Umansky, Alexia Umansky, and Sophia Umansky.
