Joel Pimentel is a Mexican singer and television personality. He is best known as a member of the Latin boyband CNCO.

Pimentel was born on February 28, 1999, in Mexico City, Mexico. His parents are Joel Pimentel Sr. and Laura De la Torre. He has two older sisters, Daniela and Paulina. Pimentel’s father is a Mexican singer and his mother is a Mexican actress.

Pimentel began his career as a child actor, appearing in various telenovelas. In 2015, he competed in the first season of La Banda, a singing competition created by Simon Cowell. Pimentel placed fifth in the competition but was later brought back as a wildcard and became a member of CNCO.

CNCO has released three studio albums, Primera Cita (2016), CNCO (2018), and Quedate (2019). They have also released several singles, including “Reggaeton Lento (Bailemos)” and “Se Vuelve Loca”. Pimentel has also appeared as a judge on the Mexican version of The X Factor.
