Joan Taylor (born April 28, 1929) is an American actress. She appeared in more than fifty films between 1948 and 1977.
Born in New York City, Joan Taylor was the daughter of a successful businessman and a socialite mother. She was educated at private schools and made her debut in society at the age of eighteen.
Joan began her film career in 1948 with a small role in the film noir classic The Naked City. She went on to appear in a number of films throughout the 1950s, including The Ten Commandments (1956), The Miracle Worker (1962), and Cleopatra (1963).
In the 1960s, Joan’s career began to decline, and she appeared in fewer and fewer films. However, she did make a comeback in the 1970s with roles in such films as Airport 1975 (1974) and The Hindenburg (1975).
Joan’s last film appearance was in the 1977 disaster film Rollercoaster. After that, she retired from acting and largely disappeared from public life.

Joan Taylor was married three times: first to businessman Alfred Wright Jr., with whom she had two children; then to actor George Hamilton, from whom she was divorced after just six months; and finally to producer Robert Evans, with whom she had one child.
She has three grandchildren and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
