Jeff Timmons is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. He is best known as a founding member of the boy band 98 Degrees.

Timmons was born in Canton, Ohio, on April 30, 1973. His parents are Jeff and Vicki Timmons. He has two sisters, Jenny and Amy. Timmons attended GlenOak High School in Canton. He played football and basketball and was a member of the school choir.

After high school, Timmons attended the University of Cincinnati. He originally planned to study law, but he changed his major to music after being inspired by a performance of the musical Rent. Timmons dropped out of college after one semester to pursue a career in music.

In 1995, Timmons formed the boy band 98 Degrees with his cousin, Nick Lachey, and friends Justin Jeffre and Drew Lachey. The group achieved success with their debut album, 98 Degrees and Rising, which was certified quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The group went on to release three more albums: 98 Degrees and Unwrapped (2000), Revelation (2001), and 2.0 (2013).

Timmons has also released two solo albums: Whisper That Way (2004) and Love Uncompromised (2006). In addition to his work with 98 Degrees, Timmons has appeared on television shows such as Star Search and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. He has also acted in the films The Bachelor Party (1997) and You Got Served (2004).

Timmons has been married to Amanda Latona since 2009. The couple has two daughters: Isabella and Olivia.
