Holly Madison is an American model, television personality, and author. She is best known for her role in the E! reality television show The Girls Next Door and for her own reality series, Holly’s World.

Madison was born in Astoria, Oregon, on December 23, 1979. She is the eldest of three daughters born to Steve and Patsy Madison. Her father was a poker player and her mother was a Las Vegas showgirl. Madison has two younger sisters, Stephanie and Nicole.

Madison attended Portland State University for two years, then transferred to Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. While attending LMU, she worked as a waitress at Hooters and as a bikini model.

In 2001, Madison moved to Las Vegas to pursue a career as a showgirl. She was hired as a showgirl at the Playboy Club at the Palms Casino Resort. In 2002, she met Hugh Hefner at his 78th birthday party and began to appear in Playboy magazine.

In 2005, Madison starred in the E! reality television show The Girls Next Door, which followed the lives of Hefner’s three girlfriends: Madison, Bridget Marquardt, and Kendra Wilkinson. The show was a ratings success and ran for five seasons until 2010.

In 2009, Madison starred in her own reality series, Holly’s World, which followed her life as she worked at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The series ran for two seasons until 2011.

Madison has appeared in numerous television shows and films, including the horror films House of Wax (2005) and The Hills Have Eyes 2 (2007). She has also written two books: Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny (2015) and The Vegas Diaries: Romance, Rolling the Dice, and the Road to Reinvention (2016).

Madison has been married twice. Her first marriage was to businessman Pasquale Rotella; they wed in 2013 and have two children together. In 2019, she married entrepreneur Zachary Madoff.
