Gwen Lee is a Chinese-American businesswoman and entrepreneur. She is the co-founder and CEO of the e-commerce platform, Shopify.

Lee was born in Guangzhou, China, in 1980. Her parents were entrepreneurs who ran a successful import-export business. When she was a child, her family moved to Vancouver, Canada.

Lee was an excellent student and was accepted into the University of British Columbia, where she studied economics. After graduation, she worked in the banking industry for a few years before starting her own business.

In 2006, Lee co-founded Shopify with her husband, Tobias Lütke. Shopify is a platform that allows businesses to create and manage their online stores. The company has been extremely successful and is now worth over $1 billion.

Lee is a very successful businesswoman and has an estimated net worth of $600 million. She is married to Tobias Lütke and they have three children together.
