Drew Sidora Jordan (born May 1, 1985) is an American actress, singer and dancer. She is best known for her roles as Tia Landry in the Disney Channel sitcom The Game Plan (2007), Chantel in the film Step Up (2006) and T-Boz in the VH1 biopic CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story (2013).

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Sidora made her acting debut in an episode of the television series My Wife and Kids in 2003. She subsequently guest-starred in other television series such as That’s So Raven, CSI: Miami and Without a Trace. In 2006, she made her film debut with a lead role in Step Up. The following year, she began starring as Tia Landry in The Game Plan.

Sidora’s other film credits include Soul Food (2007), Think Like a Man (2012) and White Chicks (2004). She has also appeared in music videos for artists such as T-Pain, Usher and Snoop Dogg.

In 2013, Sidora portrayed R&B singer Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins in the VH1 biopic CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story. The following year, she had a recurring role in the fifth season of the ABC Family comedy-drama series Switched at Birth.

Sidora is a member of the sorority Sigma Gamma Rho. She is also a spokesperson for the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation’s Black Youth Vote! campaign.

Early Life

Drew Sidora Jordan was born on May 1, 1985, in Chicago, Illinois, to parents of African-American and Native American descent. She has three older sisters. Sidora was educated at Chicago Public Schools and graduated from Whitney M. Young Magnet High School in 2003. She then attended DePaul University, where she studied communications and theatre.

Career

2003–2006: Early work

Sidora made her acting debut in an episode of the ABC sitcom My Wife and Kids in 2003. She subsequently guest-starred in other television series such as That’s So Raven, CSI: Miami and Without a Trace. In 2006, she made her film debut with a lead role in Step Up. The film was a commercial success, grossing over $115 million worldwide.

2007–2012: The Game Plan and other projects

In 2007, Sidora began starring as Tia Landry in the Disney Channel sitcom The Game Plan. The show ran for three seasons and ended in 2010. That same year, she appeared in the film Soul Food. In 2012, she co-starred in the romantic comedy Think Like a Man. The film was a box office success, grossing over $96 million worldwide.

2013–present: CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story and Switched at Birth

In 2013, Sidora portrayed R&B singer Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins in the VH1 biopic CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story. The following year, she had a recurring role in the fifth season of the ABC Family comedy-drama series Switched at Birth.
