Don Lemon is an American television journalist. He is the host of CNN Tonight with Don Lemon. Lemon has also been a correspondent for NBC News, and a co-anchor for Weekend Today.
Lemon was born on March 1, 1966, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His mother, Katherine Clark, was a city councilwoman and his father, John Lemon, was a retired truck driver. Lemon has two older sisters, Leisa and Yvette.
Lemon graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School in 1984. He then attended Louisiana State University, where he majored in broadcast journalism. After college, Lemon worked as a news assistant at WNYW in New York City.
Lemon’s career with CNN began in 2006. He has been the host of CNN Tonight since 2014. He has also been a correspondent for NBC News, and a co-anchor for Weekend Today.
Lemon has won several awards for his work in journalism, including an Emmy Award and an Edward R. Murrow Award.
According to The Washington Post, one of the documents seized at Mar-A-Lago contains information relating to “a foreign government’s military defenses, including its nuclear capabilities.”
