Deborah Pratt is an American actress, producer, and screenwriter. She is best known for her role as Virginia Madsen on the television series Picket Fences.
Pratt was born in New York City, the daughter of an actress and a producer. She has two sisters, one of whom is also an actress. Pratt began her career as a child actress, appearing in commercials and television shows. She made her film debut in the 1984 film The Goonies.
After appearing in a number of films and television shows, Pratt landed the role of Virginia Madsen on Picket Fences in 1992. The show ran for four seasons and earned Pratt a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Television Series – Drama.
