Daniel Stewart is an American actor, director, and producer. He is best known for his work on the television series The O.C. and Gossip Girl.
Stewart was born in New York City, New York, on October 6, 1971. His parents are Mary and Donald Stewart. He has two sisters, Elizabeth and Sarah. Stewart was educated at the prestigious Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan. He went on to study at Wesleyan University, where he majored in English and American literature.
After graduation, Stewart moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. He landed his first major role on the television series The O.C., which ran for four seasons from 2003 to 2007. He also had a recurring role on the show Gossip Girl from 2007 to 2012.
In addition to his work on television, Stewart has also appeared in a number of films. His most notable roles include the films The Faculty (1998), Road Trip (2000), and Zodiac (2007).
