Craig Parker is a New Zealand actor. He is known for his roles as the evil Haldir in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and as the vampire John in Underworld.

Craig was born on November 12, 1970, in Tauranga, New Zealand. His parents are Margaret and Stuart Parker. He has two sisters, Sarah and Emma. Craig attended Tauranga Boys’ College.

He began his acting career in 1995 with a role in the television series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. He has also had roles in the television series Xena: Warrior Princess, Spartacus: Blood and Sand, and Ash vs Evil Dead.

Craig’s film roles include The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, and Underworld.

He has been married to actress Rachel Blakely since 2001. They have two children together.
