Early Life
Christian Stolte was born on October 22, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois. His parents are Robert and Barbara Stolte. He has two sisters, Beth and Amy. Stolte graduated from New Trier High School in 1980. He then attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting.
Career
After college, Stolte moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. He made his television debut in an episode of the CBS series Simon & Simon in 1986. He has since appeared in numerous television shows and movies. Some of his notable roles include Mike Torello in the NBC crime drama Wiseguy, Captain Matthew Casey in the NBC drama Chicago Fire, and Randall Pearson in the NBC drama This Is Us.
Stolte has also appeared in the films Con Air (1997), The Insider (1999), and Public Enemies (2009).
