Christian Potenza is a Canadian actor, comedian, television host, and musician. He is best known for his role as Chris McLean on the Canadian television series Total Drama.

Potenza was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on August 21, 1971. He is the son of Italian immigrants. His father was a carpenter and his mother was a homemaker. He has two older sisters.

Potenza attended high school at North Toronto Collegiate Institute. He then studied acting at the Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto.

Potenza’s first acting role was in the Canadian television series Street Legal in 1992. He has also appeared in the television series Due South, La Femme Nikita, and Relic Hunter. In 2000, he had a recurring role in the Canadian television series Traders.

In 2005, Potenza began appearing in the Canadian television series Total Drama as Chris McLean, the host of the show. He has appeared in all six seasons of the show.

Potenza has also appeared in the films Saw IV (2007), The Incredible Hulk (2008), and Kick-Ass 2 (2013).

In addition to his acting career, Potenza is also a musician. He is a member of the band The Lust Boys.

Potenza has been married to his wife, Laura, since 2003. They have two children together.
