Brent Muscat is an American rock guitarist and singer. He is best known as a founding member of the glam metal band Faster Pussycat. He has also played with L.A. Guns, Sin City Sinners and Vains of Jenna.

Muscat was born in Hollywood, California, on December 12, 1961. His father was a musician, and his mother was a model. He has two older sisters. Muscat began playing guitar at the age of eleven. He was influenced by his father’s record collection, which included artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Kiss.

Muscat attended Hollywood High School, where he met future Faster Pussycat bassist Kelly Nickels. After graduation, the two formed a band called the L.A. Dogs. The band released one album, Bark at the Moon, in 1984.

In 1986, Muscat and Nickels formed Faster Pussycat with drummer Greg Steele and vocalist Taime Downe. The band’s debut album, Faster Pussycat, was released in 1987 and reached number one on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. The album’s success led to a tour with Guns N’ Roses.

Faster Pussycat’s follow-up album, Wake Me When It’s Over, was released in 1989 and reached number thirty-seven on the Billboard 200. The album’s first single, “House of Pain”, peaked at number twenty-nine on the Mainstream Rock chart.

In 1992, Muscat left Faster Pussycat and joined L.A. Guns. He appeared on the band’s albums Hollywood Vampires (1992) and Vicious Circle (1994). He left the band in 1996 and rejoined Faster Pussycat in 1997.

The band released its third album, Whipped!, in 2000. The album failed to chart and Muscat left the band again in 2001.

In 2006, Muscat formed the Sin City Sinners with fellow Las Vegas musicians Todd Kerns and Rob Cournoyer. The band has released five albums: Hangover Music Vol. I (2006), Hangover Music Vol. II (2007), Exile on Fremont Street (2009), A Sinner’s Christmas (2011) and Let it Burn (2013).

In 2010, Muscat joined the hard rock band Vains of Jenna as lead guitarist. The band has released two albums with Muscat: Alligator Wine (2010) and Starlight City (2012).

Muscat is currently a member of the glam metal band Lizzy Borden. He has appeared on the band’s albums My Midnight Things (2018) and My Fire Burns Forever (2019).

Muscat has been married three times. His first marriage was to model Carrie Stevens in 1992. The couple divorced in 1995. His second marriage was to actress Kristy Swanson in 2001. The couple divorced in 2008. He married his third wife, model Nicoletta Robinson, in 2013. The couple has two children together.
